I was lucky enought to have this honeymoon session with Lori and Joseph several days after their fabulous wedding on Kauai (wedding pics to follow in a few weeks).  We had an awesome time down at Lumahai Beach on the North Shore.  These two were so completely romantic and beautiful it was one of the easiest and fun sessions I have ever had by far! Both of them being opera singers they had a radiant presence and natural drama.  Their humor kept me laughing the whole time.  Mahalo Lori and Joseph! it was wonderful being a part of it all!

 Aloha!  I am so far behind on my blogging!  I am going to try and get more of my summer weddings up soon. I  was on a wonderful vacation with my family through Oregon and California camping and visiting with friends and family.  Pix to be posted soon  

Rachael and Rix had a wonderful wedding in Moloa'a, Kauai at a beautiful home called Shangri-La.  They were a lot of fun and I enjoyed  hearing stories of their favorite hobby , scuba diving.  he even proposed to her when they on a dive way below the surface of the sea, how romantic!  Heres an itsy bitsy view of some of their images.

 Alex and Kristen are a shining couple!  They radiated love and appreciation for eachother and their friends and family attending the small beach ceremony.  And eventhough the wedding was moved up an entire hour at the very last minute, throwing everyone off course, they were as calm and present as could be, completely soaking in the beauty of their day.  It was a priveledge to be a part of it.

  Kelsey and Amber had a really fun wedding!  They rented a great house on the beach for their ceremony and reception.  We had scattered rain but it didn't slow these 2 down from getting out there allowing me to capture some special moments.  These two were so outgoing, so much personality and adoration for eachother.  They were the best of friends and i could tell that they would have a blast together wherever they maybe.  They actually were moving to NY several days after the wedding so it was a sort of bitter sweet day as well as they bid farewell to close friends and family, so many smiles and tears highlighted their beautiful wedding day.

Amber and Ryan were so awesome!  They had their wedding at a really amazing private estate called Shangri-La on the cliffs of Kilauea.  They were surrounded by an incredibly loving and gorgeous family. Ryan and Amber really make a beautiful couple, so compatible, easy going and genuine people. We also made the trek down to the isolated beach and it was well worth it to catch some more dramatic shots.  These two were naturals and they let their love shine through.

  For being a couple that said they were shy in front of the camera, they sure didn't show it!  I had so much fun watching this playful pair interact down on the beach.  They were very spontaneous and so affectionate! and really just such a sweet couple.  I so enjoyed being in their company and meeting their beautiful mothers who joined them as their witnesses, coming all the way from Japan and the Phillipines!

 I loved being at their wedding! They were absolutely cherishing their day.  Shanna was a gorgeous bride who put so much love and attention into making their wedding a truly magical event.  The love between Bob and Shanna was so rock solid, just like her incredible bod that she has sculpted with dedication!   They embraced their new life together with much gusto!

Paul and Mary are a very passionate and romantic couple!  I loved photographing their intimate ceremony, they had a beautiful setup with a unique altar made by Alohana Weddings as their coodinator.  We almost got rained out but it held back just enough to allow us  some fun beach photos!

These two were truly the sweetest pair!  They showed such profound love and respect for eachother and their graceful, gentle ways endeared me to them.  They shared their special day with a really outgoing group of close friends and family.  It was really special for them to have their parents with them, especially for Kevin who hadn't seen his mom in 15 (?) years and he flew her out from Zimbabwe to participate in their wedding.  Thank you Kevin and Soo for having me be a part of it all.

  Kauai locals Kaipo and Sara had an amazing wedding! They are such a wonderful, gorgeous, compatible couple.  They have such a strong bond and seemed like they shared so many common passions from their careers in health care to their hobbies like surfing, true friends!  They shared their day with a really fun group of close friends and family, a perfect day!  Thank you Kaipo and Sara for allowing me to be a part of it all.  Here is just a tiny sample of some of the days moments....
